Our Apartments, as part of the Matild Country Hotel, are located on a 16-hectare estate on the western edge of the Balaton Uplands National Park, at the foot of the Keszthely Mountains. Part of the estate is the Equital Equestrian Center , what offers a special experience not only for riders, but also for pet-loving adults and children. Matild Apartments is surrounded by meadows, forests, hillsides, vineyards and wine cellars for walking and hiking. The Lake Balaton is only 3 km away. Moreover, guests of the apartments can even use the Matild Hotel’s wellness services!

The view from the garden is dominated by the volcanic witness mountains of the Balaton Uplands. Legendary castle ruins, caves, chapels and excellent wines await lovers of active recreation in the Tapolca Basin.
The area is therefore full of sights and program opportunities, as Szigliget, Szent-György Hill, Tapolca, Keszthely, Badacsony, Sümeg and the Káli basin can be reached in only a few minutes by car or a comfortable bike tour.
